Health & Nutrition

Eating habits formed during early childhood serve as the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits. Our goal is to provide a balanced, nutritious diet to all children in our care, and we encourage them to try a variety of foods.
Meals are prepared daily by our trained cook, ensuring that every meal is balanced and made from fresh ingredients. If your child has any special dietary needs, please let us know, and we will accommodate them.
We also encourage children to engage in conversation during mealtime, helping to develop their social skills and learn about nutrition. Children are taught to clean up after themselves, promoting responsibility and independence.

Flu Information & Health Guidelines

A Child’s Place Learning Center cares deeply about the health and well-being of our families. We have had confirmed cases of Type A flu, and we urge all families to follow the guidelines provided by the CDC to prevent the spread of illness:
• Wash hands frequently with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub.
• Cover coughs and sneezes with your sleeve.
• Avoid sharing food or drinks.
• Keep children home if they are sick.
• Stay home at least 24 hours after fever subsides without the use of fever-reducing medication.
